How to join
Create an account at papajohns.com/rewards and accept the program terms. There's no fee and no purchase requirement to sign up, you just need an account to start earning on your next order.
How you actually earn points
The earning mechanics differ slightly depending on how you order, though the rate is the same either way.
Log into your account before or during checkout, and you'll automatically earn 1 point for every whole dollar spent, not counting tax, tip, or delivery fees. Amounts over a whole dollar round down, so a $19.60 order earns 19 points, not 20. Points show up in your account by the next business day.
At participating locations, give the phone number linked to your Papa Rewards account when you order. If the store can't find your number, log into your account and confirm your phone number is correct and current. The earn rate and rounding rules are identical to online orders.
The 12-digit code on your receipt
If you weren't logged into your account, or weren't yet a member, when you placed an order, your receipt may show a 12-digit code at the bottom. This lets you claim the points from that specific order after the fact.
- Sign up for or log into your account, then click "Claim Points" on the website or "Request Points" in the app.
- Enter the 12-digit code exactly as printed.
- The code is single-use and can only be claimed by the person who actually placed the order.
- It expires three days after you receive it, so this isn't something to save for later.
- If you're already a member and were logged in when you ordered, you won't see this code, since your points were credited automatically.
How Papa Dough redemption works
- Papa Dough builds up automatically as your points cross each 10-point threshold, you don't need to manually convert anything.
- Log into your account to see your current Papa Dough balance under the My Papa Rewards tab.
- Start a new order and click through to checkout, where you can apply available Papa Dough to reduce what you owe.
- The amount you can apply depends on your order total and your balance, up to a maximum of $100 per order.
Papa Dough reduces your bill, it isn't a gift card and can't be withdrawn as cash or applied as a flat partial payment beyond what your order and balance allow.
Expiration rules, and why points and Papa Dough are different
This is the part that catches most people off guard, since points and Papa Dough run on separate clocks.

In practice, this means your points balance can sit safely for up to a year as long as you keep using the account, but once points convert into Papa Dough, that Papa Dough has a hard 60-day clock regardless of how active you are. Letting Papa Dough sit unused past 60 days forfeits it.
What counts toward points and what doesn't
- Counts: the pre-tax, pre-tip, pre-delivery-fee cost of your order, including orders paid for with a gift card.
- Doesn't count: tax, tip, delivery fees, or Papa Priority charges.
- Doesn't count: buying a gift card itself online. You earn points when you spend on food, not when you purchase the gift card.
- Does count: tax-exempt orders, but only when placed in-store rather than online.
Combining Papa Dough with other offers
Papa Dough and reward redemptions can generally be combined with other promotional offers, though individual promotions may carry their own restrictions that override this. If a specific deal says it can't be combined with rewards, that specific deal's terms take priority — a running BOGO promotion, for instance, follows its own stacking rules.
